Third Half Graphic Works

I’m open to taking some comissioned art now and then at reasonable prices while I’m mentioning it, so if you want me to do some work for you, I’m sure something can be worked out. In general:

Illustration (Approximates)

• $20-30 USD for full-color character art pieces, depending on complexity. (Detailed backgrounds especially take me a bit more effort)
• Sequential art- varies a lot with number of panels and complexity. $15/hr. drawing from a full script, $20/hr if I gotta write, too.
• Web banner art- $15-$25

Graphic Design

• Website design starter set: I can start you off with ‘main’ pages and editable templates for around $50-$60. Either you can choose your own hosting or let me choose and add it to the total. If you’re unfamiliar with web language or don’t have an editor program, I can make updates and additions to your page for nominal extra fees.
• I can also configure a WordPress-powered site if you wish for something more dynamic, like a blog. (Admittedly, I’m not too familiar with many other automation schemes, since I’m a designer first and a programmer… somewhere between ‘square dancer’ and ‘Boy Scout’.)
• Identification Systems: I can design logos suitable for letterheads, business cards and other media for an initial rate of around $30, and work on the design of the actual products for an additional fee.

If I accept your comission, please be patient with the actual work (even if I give you an hourly rate, in which case I can especially sympathise) as I do have a day job, as well as hobbies that could probably qualify as a second, non-paying job.

Qualifications:

I hold an Associate’s in Visual Communications/Graphic Design (SCC), with an additional two years vocational training at MVCTC. Also, I run a handful of websites, just for kicks. (You might be reading one right now.) I’m familiar in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver, as well as more print-friendly applications such as Quark XPress.
