ABOUT THIS SITE

Third Half is more or less just going on about my hobbies in a public forum, while trying to keep my graphic design skills in steady use for any prospective employers or commissions who happen to like what I do. It hovers between half-serious reviews and mindless blogging, with more of the latter than I really want to acknowledge since the slow mutation of the average “Homepage” from thought-out articles to stream-of-consciousness snippets generally bothers me. Its secondary purpose as a giant gallery/portfolio has sort of degraded, but one of my goals for ‘08 is to make myself a decent online portfolio if only for the sake of showing off.
The site gets its name from a bad statistic joke- Half the people were for something, half were against it, and the third half just didn’t care. Something along those lines. I also like that it conveys a feeling of a thing either unneeded, but still amusing.
